Materials Needed
Purchase these books before we start the 1st session!
Materials for piano: A piano or digital keyboard are both acceptable instruments to practice with at home. I teach from Alfred’s books. We will use 3 books for every level: recital, lesson, and theory. Age and music experience determine which level to start with. Please reach out to me and we can determine where to start together. Infrequently other books will be needed in addition to these staples, such as the Christmas book that correlates with each level when the holidays arrive.
Materials for flute: Students will need full access to a tuner and a metronome. Flute books needed will be determined depending on the books the student already has, especially if the student is in band, etc. Please reach out to me and we can determine where to start together.
In addition to the music, an empty notebook will be required where I can write the assigned material and notes each week.
